As part of the project Operation Sadbhavana, the Indian Army undertakes various campaigns to develop literacy, women empowerment, public health and relief and rehabilitation in Jammu & Kashmir. On the 25th of March Mrs. Pari Balsara, wife of Core Commander of Operation Sadbhavana, and Colonel Rana from the CO 503 ASC Battalion arrived at the Druk Padma Karpo Institute to distribute blankets to the students from the flood affected regions of Ladakh. The event started at 11am and 58 blankets were given to the students. The event started off with a cultural programme where the students performed different songs as well as Ladakhi and Himachali dances. There were solo performances as well as group numbers. This was followed by the distribution of the blankets. Thus ended a day of goodwill.
